What's going on for Young People?

Loads going on!

Our Youth work from Year 9 is cell based encouraging radical discipleship lived out in each life. If you're 11-18 years old it would be worth looking at the Plug Website.

PLUG (yr 7 and up) aiming to inspire and equip, meets on the 2nd & 4th Sunday in St James Church @ 7.00pm. 

YOE (yr 7 & 8) meet in term-time on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at the St John’s Centre @ 10.00am, on other Sundays in the main congregation.

Re:vive – 4th Saturday at St John’s @ 7.30pm.

Faith

If there is no faith

You die

You burn

Without faith in God being there to guide you

To help you

To comfort your every thought

To love you for who you are

To love you more than any earthly being

To be the only support you need

To help you see the thin divide between right and wrong

Without this faith we can try

We can doubt

We can flop about all that we want

However we will be dead

We will burn in our doubt

This doubt will rot away at our soul

While faith in God brings fruit bearing many riches

Not earthly riches

But riches wildly more awesome

Because Lord

With our own earthly bodies

We can make millions

But through faith in you Lord

We can save lives

    yay!
