What we are here for

‘Learning from Jesus – Living for Jesus’ is our mission statement.  We are conscious that there is a large gap between the dynamic attractiveness of Jesus and his teaching, and most people’s perception of church.  We are seeking to bridge that gap in our experience, as we are called to be the Body of Christ in our community. 

 

Our vision is that ‘through us God will transform our community with the love of Jesus.’  We have a long way to go – but this is the direction we are travelling.  To help us in this we are developing our Church Community to become Cell-based, operating in small groups which can support our Christian lives and effectively network with our society, as well as gathering together to worship on Sundays.
