Who we are linked with

As an Anglican Church we are part of the Deanery of Southampton, and in the Diocese of Winchester.

As a local Church we are a member of Churches Together in Shirley, working with most of the other Churches in the area. We want to support others working in and for our community. You may like to visit the Friends of St James Park website. 

As a city Church we are a member of the Southampton Christian Network, which helps us to have a city-wide vision.

As part of the global Church we are linked with the Parish of Bupadhengo in the Busoga Diocese of the Church of Uganda.

We support the work of the Busoga Trust, SCM Foods and SPRING in Uganda. 

We are also linked with the Leake family working for native Indian land rights in northern Argentina. More details can be found through the SAMS website.

As a caring Church we have particular links with

• Communicare in Southampton, SCRATCH a part of SCM, 
• SAFE (Southampton Action for Employment), 
• Firgrove (a counselling and support centre for issues around pregnancy)    
• A Rocha (a Christian environmental charity working to redeem God’s creation).
