Two courses run by Bridge Christian Fellowship this year at Emmanuel Church in Shirley Road, SO15 3FP: 1. School of Prophecy – Foundations Mon evenings, 7.30pm all year starting on the 13 Feb 2. Kingdom Culture & Leadership Development: Meeting on last Monday each month, 7.30 pm throughout the year starting on 30 Jan. Mobile March A series of day events being held all over the UK in March by World Horizons, a Christian missionary organisation based in South Wales. The Nativity 2012: ‘Search for Mary’ competition - looking to find the right person to play our leading lady in an original production planned for December 2012 that maintains the Christian message of the well loved nativity story but gives this age-old tale a modern retelling. Auditions will take place mid March and then the grand final will be held on Sat 24 March! If you are aged between 16-25 & female, please visit www.thenativity.co.uk to enter. Including a light meal of international food, displays showing work that we are involved in around the world. Coping with Anxiety and Stress: Feb 22nd, 7.30pm at Highfield Church. Signs of stress or anxiety may include difficulty in relaxing, lack of energy, poor sleep, aches & pains, irritability & depression. This evening for the ‘49+s’ will explore ways of coping with this. Are you interested in becoming a Stewardship Promoter in church? Research shows giving grows fastest over the medium-term in places that appoint an individual as Stewardship Promoter. The Diocese is running Stewardship Promoter Workshops at Old Alresford Place to help parishes set this up. The next workshops are scheduled for 13 Feb, 12 Mar or 9 Apr. 7.30-9.30pm.
